I believe in theatre that includes high levels of collaboration, research and imagination. I strive for theatre that allows for conversations, memories and connections to occur in a powerful and immediate way with other people who are physically in the same room as each other. My ideal theatre creates a dialogue around challenging and complex topics and expands our collective understanding of the world and what it means to be a part of it.
I'm a freelance director based in NYC. I've worked as a Resident/Associate Director on Groundhog Day, Matilda the Musical and Ghost the Musical and I launched the 1st national tour of Matilda the Musical. In addition to that, I am a founding artistic director of No.11 Productions (a nonprofit ensemble-driven theatre company based in NYC and going into its 10th year). I have directed many productions in NYC as well as regionally and within educational institutions. I am proud to have a bachelor of science from Skidmore College.
